Pamukkale

Pamukkale ("cotton castle" in Turkish) is a natural site in Turkey containing terraces which are made of travertine, a sedimentary rock deposited by water from the hot springs existing in the region. But this is not the only famous place to visit in this region, the ancient city of Hierapolis was built on top of this white castle.
